To perpetuate the memory of those who served the United States of America from it's inception as a Republic through the end of the War of 1812 and it's aftermath, and to educate the youth of America and the American public on the importance of the War of 1812 in the history of the United States of America.

To commemorate the deeds and honor the memories of the men, women and children who rendered service to the United States of America during the period of the War of 1812;
To preserve and increase knowledge of the history of the United States of America during the period leading to and through the close of the War of 1812;
To preserve and restore places of historical significance related to the War of 1812; and
To encourage and promote patriotism in the children of today.
